Sugar Wax by Oregon Roots

What’s the difference between a Concentrate and an Extract?

Concentrates are made without using solvents by mechanical or physical means. This includes products such as Kief, Rosin, and Hash. Solventless concentrates provide a natural alternative to extracts, and may yield a higher amount of flavorful terpenes.

Solvent – Based

Extracts are created using solvents like alcohol, butane, or carbon dioxide. This includes products such as Crumble, Sugar Sauce, and Shatter. Solvent-based extracts may yield higher amounts of THC than natural alternatives.

It is of course actually way more complicated than that since all Extracts are Concentrates but not all Concentrates are Extracts, but for the sake of everyone’s sanity, this is as simple as it gets!
